This Japanese cutting board is made from soft, beautifully grained mountain cherry wood. Its alternating wood-grain design prevents warping and guarantees great durability. With its 23 cm diameter, it can be used every day to cut your food, serve pizza or cake, present your cheese platter... The wood is hard, strong and scratch-resistant, yet fairly light. It comes from local forests in Gifu prefecture, where the sawmill is located in a richly wooded mountain village.
