How do I return an order?

Did you order the wrong size or simply change your mind? No worries, at Japan Avenue we make it easy for you to return your order!

Step 1

Please ensure that your package was received less than 30 days ago and that the items are being returned in their original condition.

Step 2

Please contact us to obtain your return form, which must be completed and included in your package before sending it to the provided address.

Step 3

After receiving and inspecting your package, your request will be processed by our team. We will notify you of the status of your return as soon as possible.

We only refund via the original payment method used to place the order.

Refunds are made as soon as possible after receipt of your package at our warehouse. Refunds take on average 4 to 8 business days after receipt of your package.

Yes, you can request an exchange by indicating this on your return form.

If you choose to exchange, the new item will be shipped within 48 hours.

Our stock is not automatically reserved for exchanges. It is possible that the item you have requested is no longer available at the time of shipping. If this is the case, your money will be refunded via your original payment method and you will receive a confirmation email.

We offer free delivery to all orders on Japan Avenue over $80. If returning an item, you are responsible for the return shipping costs.

We are sorry to hear that you have received a defective item.

Don't bother sending your defective item to us, but contact us as soon as possible so we can provide you with a solution (refund or return)!

Please send the following information to our Customer Service:

  • Your order number (e.g. JA12345)
  • The name of the item
  • Photos clearly showing the defect

Choose a shipping method with a tracking number for your return. Without a tracking number, we do not accept claims regarding a lost order.

You have 30 days after receiving your package to return it to us.
