This adorable Japanese noren features two big eyes and the little cat face lost in the dark. In the Japanese tradition, the black cat is sometimes considered a spiritual guardian or protector against malevolent spirits. Some people also believe it brings good luck and prosperity. Meanwhile, it will look great in your doorframe, in front of a cupboard or window.

To separate the two panels of your noren, grab a pair of scissors and cut along the dotted line at the center of the noren. It won't fray. This way, you can choose the height of your noren's opening.
