The fuchsia pink of this hanten jacket is adorned with fine stripes punctuated by small embroidered diamonds. This pattern has a name in Japan: shima ni hishi, literally ‘stripes and diamonds’, a classic combination in traditional textiles. The contrasting black velvet collar accentuates the neckline and falls in a lapel down to the bow that fastens the jacket at the front. With a loose fit, wide kimono sleeves and a patch pocket on the front, the hanten can be worn as a cosy indoor jacket – equally at home as a chic dressing gown or layered over an everyday outfit for a milder winter.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS
