In Japan, the ume plum tree is the first to blossom, in the depths of winter and sometimes under the snow, long before the cherry trees take over. This set comprises two Japanese metal tea tins featuring a minimalist design of these flowers, one on a deep blue background, the other on a vibrant red. Both are covered with washi paper, whose fibrous texture gives them a soft, matt feel.
Made in Japan, each holds 200 g of loose tea beneath an airtight inner lid and a metal lid; only the washi paper needs to be kept away from water.
