In Japanese mythology, the sun and the moon are brother and sister: Amaterasu reigns over the day, Tsukuyomi over the night. A falling-out is said to have separated them forever, which is why they never meet in the sky.
This set of two Japanese metal tea tins finally brings them together on your shelf. Why not use them to store a tea for every moment of the day: a lively sencha in the morning on the ‘Sun’ side, and a lightly roasted, low-caffeine hojicha in the evening on the ‘Moon’ side. They come in a lovely cardboard gift box and are supplied with a particularly sturdy, protective and durable metal inner lid.
Made in Japan, they make a lovely gift for a Japanese tea lover.
