DELIVERY DATE: [dayMin] [monthMin] - [dayMax] [monthMax]Set of 2 Gentaku Japanese metal tea caddies, black and gold
This set brings together both versions of the Gentaku Japanese metal tea caddy, each of which showcases gold in its own unique way. On the first, flowers and sensu fans are printed in gold on a gold background and are only revealed when light glints off the metal.
On the second, by contrast, they stand out clearly against a matt black background. In the centre of each, two calligraphic characters read ‘meicha’, meaning ‘renowned tea’ – a title that Japanese tea merchants bestow upon their finest harvests. Placed side by side, understated yet full of contrast, they form an elegant pair for storing two teas that truly deserve this title. Made in Japan, each holds 200 g of loose tea.
