Set of Two Metal Tea Caddies - Floral Print

Set of 2 Japanese metal tea caddies with a pink and green floral print

This set of two Japanese metal tea tins combines pink and green, the colours of spring in Japan, which is also the season for shincha. This ‘new tea’, from the very first harvest of the year, is eagerly awaited by tea lovers, but its fresh aromas fade quickly if it is not stored properly. This is where the double seal on these tins makes all the difference: an airtight inner plastic lid, followed by a metal lid, to keep out moisture and light.

Made in Japan, these tins will appeal to all green tea lovers, whether they’re eagerly awaiting spring or enjoy drinking sencha all year round.
A handy tip from Japan: if you keep your supply in the fridge, let the tin return to room temperature before opening it, to prevent condensation from damaging the leaves.
