This set comprises two round Japanese metal tea caddies featuring the same gold decoration, one on a pearly white background and the other on a black background. It features the kiku chrysanthemum, which arrived from China as a medicinal plant and has become a symbol of longevity in Japan. It is accompanied by cherry and plum trees in bloom, as well as the swirling patterns of the kanzesui, a motif representing flowing water.
With their round, compact design, each tin holds 100 to 150 g of loose tea, secured by an airtight plastic inner lid and a domed metal lid. Made in Japan, this set is ideal for tea lovers who enjoy trying different varieties.
