Set of Three Floral Washi Tea Caddies

Set of 3 Japanese tea caddies covered with floral washi paper

With these three Japanese tea caddies, it’s as if a real bouquet has found its way into your kitchen. The washi paper that adorns them is covered in peonies, the flower known in Japan as the ‘queen of flowers’: there, it evokes quiet strength, kindness and a certain sense of elegance. Surrounding them are karakusa arabesques, a stylised stem that never ends and which, for this reason, symbolises prosperity and longevity.

As well as its aesthetic appeal, the craftsmanship is of the highest standard: the airtight tin and double lid keep your loose tea securely protected from light, moisture and heat – the three factors that cause it to lose its aroma most quickly.
