The ruling on this Kokuyo Campus Japanese notebook was developed following a study carried out in 2008 on the notebooks of students admitted to the University of Tokyo. Regularly spaced dots run along each line: they serve as guides for aligning the start of your sentences, drawing a table or sticking a document straight onto the page. Each page has 35 lines spaced 6 mm apart, in semi-B5 format (252 × 179 mm) – the same size as the notebooks used in classrooms in Japan. The set contains five notebooks, one in each colour, which you can use for different subjects or projects. In Japan, you can find them just as easily at your local convenience store as in the large stationery shops in Tokyo.
