Among Buddhist monks, the samue is the garment worn for daily work at the temple, and this summer version faithfully reproduces the cut whilst featuring a textured weave. This type of fabric creates a subtle textured effect on the surface, which reduces direct contact between the fabric and the skin and allows air to circulate when the temperature rises. A wrap-style jacket fastened with ties, and loose-fitting trousers tapered at the ankles: the result is a lightweight indoor outfit for summer nights, quiet mornings or long evenings on the terrace.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS
To look after your garment, wash it separately on the first wash at 40°. Air-dry where possible and avoid the tumble dryer. The indigo dye may run. Do not use bleach to preserve the colours. Ironing at a medium heat is recommended. The fabric is designed to resist shrinkage, ensuring your garment will last a long time.
