Men’s Japanese black cotton jinbei with a buttoned collar and textured Kurume weave
In Japan, the jinbei is the outfit of choice for summer evenings: you slip it on when you get home, keep it on for dinner, and often end up heading out in it to watch the neighbourhood fireworks. This men’s jinbei is woven and made in Kurume, near Fukuoka, by a workshop that has specialised in Japanese loungewear since 1995. Its black cotton, with a slightly embossed weave, allows air to circulate rather than clinging to the skin, and its two-button collar gives it a more Western look than the traditional style.
The model is 178 cm tall and is wearing a size M.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS
To look after your garment, wash it separately on its first wash at 40°. Air dry where possible and avoid the tumble dryer. Do not use bleach to preserve the colours. Ironing at a medium heat is recommended. The fabric is designed to resist shrinkage, ensuring your garment will last a long time.
