Large Japanese Wind Chime Mountain Stream

Large Japanese fūrin wind chime in cast iron, featuring the Keiryū mountain stream design

This large Japanese cast-iron wind chime is based on a design created by the foundry nearly fifty years ago, which had long been out of the catalogue. Instead of a single bell, it features a horizontal design depicting a mountain stream (keiryū in Japanese) and the fish swimming within it, stretching nearly 27 cm. Placed in front of a well-lit window, the design stands out against the light, and the bell rings whenever a draught passes by. Once summer is over, it remains in place as a Japanese decorative piece.
