Give a small gift a playful Japanese touch with these Japanese washi gift bands. Simply tear a band from the pad, wrap it around your gift and secure it at the back with one of the adhesive dots provided. At 21 cm long, the bands are ideal for decorating a tea tin, a bar of soap or a packet of biscuits.
Two of the four designs feature a short Japanese phrase modestly suggesting that the present is “just a little something”, a typical expression of courtesy when giving a gift in Japan. The other two leave space for you to write your own short message. Each design features cute cats and a chōmusubi bow, a motif associated in Japan with happy occasions that can be celebrated again and again.
