Made in Japan using traditional Japanese techniques, this tenugui is a true piece of craftsmanship and the result of ancestral know-how. Its fine cotton fabric is carefully chosen for quick drying and durability. The details are delicate and the colors will remain vibrant even after several washes. The print on this towel depicts the Tocho-ji Buddhist temple in the city of Fukuoka, north of the island of Kyushu in Japan.

Note: tenugui is a strip of fine cotton fabric, usually measuring 34 by 90 cm. It has no folds or hems, so it dries quickly. If the edges of your tenugui start to fray, trim any protruding threads with a pair of scissors.
