The transition from deep red to gold on this tea caddy is inspired by bokashi, a Japanese technique in which colours gradually blend into one another without a hard dividing line. Vertical bands featuring the geometric asanoha pattern, based on the hemp leaf, run through the design alongside pink and white cherry and plum blossoms. Tall and slender, the caddy holds up to 200 g of loose tea and closes with a simple gold-coloured metal lid featuring a secure snap-fit mechanism.
