Osaka is known for its Shoyu Tonkotsu ramen, a rich combination of creamy tonkotsu-style broth and the deep umami flavor of soy sauce. The result is a smooth, amber-colored broth that's milder than a classic tonkotsu, yet more complex than a traditional shoyu ramen.
Founded in 1878, Itsuki recreates this regional favorite in an instant version that's ready in just 2.5 minutes. Despite its pork-style flavor, this recipe contains no animal-derived ingredients, making it suitable for vegetarians.
