Usagi Monogatari, “The Tale of the Rabbit,” is the poetic name of this set. In Japanese culture, the rabbit, or usagi, symbolizes gentleness, elegance, and vitality.
These lacquered wooden chopsticks feature a golden leaping rabbit motif: one pair on a blue background, the other on a soft powder pink background, both decorated with small cherry blossoms along the handle. The natural wood tips add warmth against the satin lacquer, while the clear molded resin chopstick rests complete the set beautifully.
