Gachapon Toy - Chubby Cat Soft Vinyl

Gachapon figurine from the ‘Chubby, Soft Cats’ soft vinyl (sofubi) collection – Random figurine

This figurine isn’t made of hard plastic as is usually the case. It’s made of soft vinyl, known in Japan as ‘sofubi ’: a flexible, hollow material that allows you to squeeze the cat in your hand. In Japan, it’s a toy category in its own right, with its own collectors and specialist manufacturers. There are six cats in this series, and you’ll receive one at random. It’s less than 6 cm tall, so it fits just about anywhere – in a pencil case, a school bag or on a desk. A great gift for someone who loves cats and always keeps a stress ball to hand.

This figurine is part of a gachapon collection: the model you receive will be chosen at random from those shown in the photos. It’s not possible to select a specific character – that’s precisely the charm of this iconic Japanese concept! Every figurine is a surprise… and they’re all adorable. Please note that no exchanges or refunds will be possible once the box has been opened.

Warning: not suitable for children under 15 years of age. Choking hazard – contains small parts. Collectable item; this is not a toy.
