Gachapon Toy - Axolotl Pen Holder

Gachapon Collection figurine: finger-eating axolotl and pen holder – Random figurine

It has two uses: your pen stands upright between its arms, but you can also slide it through its mouth onto the tip of your finger, and it looks as though it’s swallowing it. Its Japanese name, ‘pakutto’, is actually the sound you make when you gobble something down in one go. The axolotl had its moment of glory in Japan in the 1980s, when a TV advert made it famous overnight across the country, and it has regularly appeared as a figurine there ever since. It comes in four colours, ranging from pale pink to black, and you’ll receive one at random. It takes up very little space on a desk, but its adorable and amusing appearance is sure to catch the eye.

This figurine is part of a gachapon collection: the model you receive will be chosen at random from those shown in the photos. It’s not possible to select a specific character – that’s precisely the charm of this iconic Japanese concept! Every figurine is a surprise… and they’re all adorable. Please note that no exchanges or refunds will be accepted once the box has been opened.
