The Japanese noren is a very popular decorative element in Japan as well as in the West. It can have a functional role by hanging it in a doorway to separate two rooms or a purely decorative role by hanging it against a wall. This curtain is inspired by ukiyo-e art, an artistic movement illustrating scenes of Japanese daily life.
